✨ Brushes, sponges and reusable tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after every event and sanitised between applications.
✨ Glitter is decanted into individual portions before application. No fingers in glitter pots. Ever.
✨ Our Glitter Artists regularly sanitise their hands throughout every event.
✨ Work surfaces and equipment are kept clean, organised and hygienic at all times.
✨ We only use vegan, cosmetic-grade products from trusted suppliers.

Our standard adhesive is aloe vera gel, which is:

For guests with an aloe vera allergy or sensitivity, we also carry a hypoallergenic conductive gel as an alternative.

For glitter hair and glitter beards, we use a hair styling gel that is:

⛑️ Health & Safety
Guests who appear unwell, have contagious skin conditions, or have open cold sores around the application area may be refused an application for hygiene and safety reasons.
Our Glitter Artists are:
✅ Equipped with a fully stocked first aid kit
✅ Equipped with an emergency eyewash station
We never intentionally apply glitter:
🚫 To broken or infected skin
🚫 To open wounds
🚫 Inside the eyes or on the waterline
🚫 Inside the nose or mouth
If at any point an application feels uncomfortable, bamboo cleansing wipes are always available so glitter can be removed immediately.
💚 Sensitive Skin
& Allergies
Although we use gentle, cosmetic-grade vegan products, everyone's skin is different.
If you have:
allergies
eczema
psoriasis
very sensitive skin
a medical skin condition
please let your Glitter Artist know before application so we can select the most appropriate products.
For everyone's safety, we reserve the right to decline an application if we believe it may not be suitable.
👶 Children
We love adding sparkle to little ones! To help keep everyone safe, we kindly ask that the following guidelines are followed:
✨ Children under 3 years old will not receive glitter applications due to their delicate skin and the increased likelihood of rubbing glitter into their eyes.
✨ Children aged 3 to 12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout their glitter application.
✨ Guests aged 13 and over do not need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their glitter application.
✨ We may ask a parent or guardian to help younger children remain still during the application.
✨ We reserve the right to refuse an application if a guest is distressed, unable to remain still, appears unwell, or if we believe it would be unsafe to proceed.
💄 Face & Body
Our glitter can usually be removed with:
✨ Warm water
✨ A soft flannel or reusable cleansing pad
✨ Your usual facial cleanser, if needed
Avoid rubbing the skin vigorously. Instead, gently massage and wipe away the glitter.
✨ Removing your Glitter
💇 Hair & Beards
For hair and beard applications:
✨ Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
✨ Wash with your usual shampoo.
✨ Comb or brush through the hair while washing to help remove any remaining glitter.
A second wash may be needed for thicker hair or heavier glitter applications.
