At Glitter Elements, we believe every celebration should leave lasting memories, not unnecessary waste.

As a mobile events business, we are committed to making thoughtful choices that reduce our environmental impact while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety and customer experience.

We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we continually look for ways to improve as our business grows.

  • Our glitter is:

    • 🐰 Cruelty free

    • 🫶 100% Vegan

    • 💄 Cosmetic grade

    • 🧴 Compliant with the EU Microplastics Regulation

    We never use traditional craft glitter or craft glue on the skin.

  • We actively work to reduce our use of plastic wherever practical.

    This includes:

    • Choosing reusable equipment wherever possible.

    • Keeping unnecessary plastic packaging to a minimum.

    • Selecting durable products designed for repeated use.

  • Where hygiene and safety allow, we choose reusable products over disposable alternatives.

    When single-use items are necessary, we aim to select biodegradable or environmentally responsible alternatives wherever reasonably possible.

  • We use vegan products throughout our glitter applications and jewellery workshops, including:

    • Cosmetic glitter

    • Application gels

    • Hair styling products

    • Application tools and accessories

  • Protecting the environment doesn't stop when the glitter is applied.

    We:

    • Use biodegradable cosmetic glitter instead of conventional plastic glitter.

    • Avoid products that contribute unnecessary microplastic pollution.

    • Use biodegradable bamboo wipes where disposable wipes are required.

  • We believe great events don't always require brand-new materials.

    Where practical, we:

    • Reuse decorations and display equipment.

    • Upcycle furniture and event props.

    • Repair equipment rather than replacing it.

    • Reuse storage containers and transport packaging.

  • We aim to minimise paper waste by providing:

    • Digital quotations

    • Digital contracts

    • Digital invoices

    • Digital receipts

    • Digital information packs

    Printed documents are only provided where requested or required.

  • We aim to work with suppliers who share our values around quality, sustainability and ethical business practices.

    Where practical, we choose products that are durable, responsibly sourced and designed to have a lower environmental impact.

  • Sustainability is an ongoing commitment.

    We regularly review our products, suppliers and working practices to identify realistic ways to reduce waste and improve our environmental performance without compromising the safety, quality or enjoyment of our services.
