The safety and wellbeing of our guests and Glitter Artists is our highest priority.
Our Glitter Artists carry a fully stocked first aid kit and emergency eyewash at every event. Safety is our highest priority, and we follow strict hygiene and health & safety procedures throughout every glitter application.
For safety reasons, we do not apply glitter:
To open wounds or broken skin
Inside the eyes or on the waterline
Inside the nose or mouth
To anyone who appears unwell where a glitter application may not be appropriate
Our Glitter Artists reserve the right to stop or refuse a glitter application if a guest:
is unable to remain still during the application;
repeatedly moves in a way that could compromise safety;
behaves in a manner that may cause injury to themselves or others; or
does not follow reasonable safety instructions given by our Glitter Artist.
The safety of our guests and staff will always take priority.

We love sharing the sparkle from our events and may take photographs or videos of our setup, glitter applications, jewellery workshops and the general event atmosphere for use on our website, social media channels and other promotional material.
If you would prefer not to appear in any photographs or videos, simply let one of our Glitter Artists know during the event or email jenny@glitterelements.uk afterwards. We will happily remove any images or videos that feature you where reasonably possible.
👶 Children
Children are a huge part of what we do, and protecting their privacy is extremely important to us.
We do not publish photographs or videos of children without a signed parent or guardian media consent form.
Even where consent has been given, we aim to protect children's privacy by:
Avoiding names, ages or other identifying information.
Avoiding captions that reveal locations or personal details.
Focusing photographs on the glitter application rather than the child's identity wherever possible.
Cropping or framing images to minimise identifiable facial features where appropriate.
