Yes. Our professional cosmetic gels are designed to keep glitter securely in place throughout your event.
How long it lasts will depend on the design, activity level and weather, but most guests enjoy their sparkle for many hours. When you're ready, it can be removed easily using warm water and your usual cleanser or shampoo.
-
Yes. We only use premium cosmetic-grade biodegradable glitter made from plant-based materials as an alternative to conventional plastic glitter.
You can find out more on our About Our Glitter page.
-
Yes. We only use cosmetic-grade biodegradable glitter and professional cosmetic products designed for use on the face, body, lips, around the eyes and in the hair.
We never use craft glitter or craft glue on the skin.
-
Not in the way many people expect.
Unlike traditional loose glitter, our cosmetic-grade biodegradable glitter is applied using professional cosmetic gels, which help keep the glitter exactly where it's belongs. This means there's no sprinkling of glitter onto guests and very little airborne glitter.
Only our Glitter Artists handle the glitter, so there are no self-service glitter stations or open pots for guests to use.
To help keep your venue clean, we:
Use floor mats where appropriate.
Keep glitter contained within our working area.
Tidy our workspace throughout the event.
Vacuum and use a static duster to clean our working area before leaving.
Remove all waste generated by Glitter Elements.
-
Please let us know before your glitter application if you have any allergies, skin sensitivities or medical conditions.
Our standard skin adhesive is pure aloe vera gel, and we also carry a hypoallergenic conductive gel as an alternative for guests with an aloe vera allergy or sensitivity.
If we believe a glitter application may not be suitable, we'll always discuss this with you before proceeding.
We are a nut free business, so rest assured there are no nut oils present in any of our products.
-
Our glitter is easy to remove using warm water and your usual facial cleanser or shampoo.
Avoid rubbing the skin vigorously. Instead, gently massage the area while washing to remove the glitter comfortably.
-
Yes. We do not provide glitter applications for children under the age of 3.
Children aged 3 to 12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout their glitter application.
-
That's absolutely fine.
We never force anyone to have a glitter application. If a child becomes upset, uncomfortable or simply changes their mind, we'll stop immediately.

Our workshops are designed to be fun, creative and suitable for beginners, with no previous jewellery-making experience required.
Please note that our workshops focus on bead and gemstone jewellery rather than metalworking, soldering or wire jewellery.
If you're looking for something specific, we'd be delighted to discuss a bespoke workshop tailored to your event.
